The pace of progress in the field of Science & Technology in this millennium has overshadowed the speed of Technological changes in the past decades. Technical Symposiums like College are an effort to catch up with the pace of technological innovation.

College is a technical festival. The event seeks to achieve communication of innovative ideas that promote the cause of the technological advantage among the students and also to keep them abreast with the latest advances in their respective fields. It also opens a window to the participants to interact with people from different backgrounds and upgrade their knowledge.

The FEST "EXPLORERS' MEET 2K24" asserts the fact that the future of technology lies in the hands of the youth. This is the time for the students to draw out their talents in the areas related to academic routine.

Tech Puzzle

At SRKIT, we believe “Persistence & Passion is all you need”. We present to you Tech Puzzle , the annual coding festival of the Department of Information Technology, SRKIT, Vijayawada! Puzzle can improve problem-sloving skills ,concentration,focus and attention span, from Competitive Programming. We aim to provide fresh Computer Science enthusiasts with an opportunity to explore the various fields in Computer Science, as well as keeping the bar high enough for more experienced ones to feel the heat as they compete for the ultimate glory.

GUIDE LINES
1) This is an individual event.
2) There will be one round.
3) All rounds will be based on Programming Languages.
White paper will be provided to the students with Puzzle and questions related to programming languages.


Contest:


In the First round, 20 questions are given to the students and they have to answer those questions and roundup in word puzzle. Puzzle paper will be provided to the students with word puzzle and questions.

Rules:

The answer sheet must be submitted by the participants on or before 30 min. There after the answer sheets are not accepted. Students who got more correct answers will be declared as a winner.

General Instructions:

1) Mode of Registration - Registration begins by 9:00am-10:30am.
2) Contestants must bring their college - ID cards at the time of registration.
3) Judges decision will be final.
4) All participants will get participation certificates. The winner will be awarded with certificates & cash prizes.

Quiz Competition

Technical Quiz Rules

1. A team shall consist of max two students
2. The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
3. Participants shall be allowed to use mobile .
4. Questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, True / False statement, Visuals, Specific-answer question etc.
5. Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.

Round 1:

1. we will provide a scanner to all teams and 20 question will be displayed to a team .
2. 60sec is given for each question.
3. each question weightage starts from 1000 points.
4. points will be decreased as time passes.
5. Team discussion is allowed.
6. The team which got maximum points will be selected for the Round-2

Round 2:

1. Teams selected in Round-1 will be sent to Round-2.
2. Again Scanner will be displayed and 10 question will be provided.
3. 60sec is given for each question.

Paper Presentation

DESCRIPTION

Paper Presentation is all about how you put your topic or present your topic in front of the audience. They see the way you present your topic, the way you put your points, your presentation style, your language and how promptly and effectively you answer their questions. There are number of students who often ask why paper presentation skills are required in the corporate world. These paper presentations are valuable for the students to share their knowledge and improve their communication skills.

EVENT DETAILS:

ROUND 1 (Short listing the finalists):
The abstracts sent by the participants are filtered and worthy participants are shortlisted for the final round. The finalists will be intimated about the same at the earliest
ROUND 2 (Paper presentation):
The selected participants will be presenting on their topics. Each team will be given 10 minutes for the presentation. Teams are expected to present using PPT.

RULES OF THE EVENT:

1.)Every member participating in the event should have a valid Student ID.
2.)Usage of electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited.
3.)Maximum number of participants in a team is 2.
4.)Participants are expected to submit the abstract before 04-03-2024
5.)Papers should strictly adhere to the IEEE format and can be submitted on the day of the event.
6.) Abstract should not exceed 250 words and Paper should not exceed 20 pages.
7.) The mail should be sent to exploresmeet2k24.it@gmail.com and should contain name of the paper as the subject of the email.
8.) Persons from different institutions can be a part of the same team. However, one person may not be a part of multiple teams for the same event.

The mail with submissions should contain:

1.) Title- theme of the paper
2.) Name of the participants
3.) Mobile Number of the participants
4.) College name and district
5.) E-mail id of the participants
After you have submitted the abstract, panel of judges will go through your material and if you are shortlisted to give the presentation, you will be notified through mail.
The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained. If any team is found to be performing any sort of malpractice, that particular team will be rusticated from the event.

Poster presentation

POSTER PRESENTATION:

RULES:

1.) Decision of the judges will be final and will not be subjected to any further discussions.
2.) Participants are required to bring the printed copy of the poster.
3.) Poster should quickly orient the subject.
4.) Handouts are allowed that explain the information in detail.
5.) The size of the poster must be designed in A3 size (420 x 297 mm).
6.) The Duration of explanation 10min and Max two authors per poster.
7.) The Abstract must be in 10pt Times New Roman font with not more than 150 words.

Event Type: Individual Event

Rules & Regulations:

> This will be an on-spot preliminary round taking place during the tech fest.
> It will consist of programs with errors to solve for testing basic programming skills.
> There will a duration of 30 minutes per round.
> Top 10 Members will be selected for the Second Round.
> Programming languages will be C/C++.

> A program will be given with errors and the participant will have to solve the errors.

Round 1 - A set of 10 blurred images will be given (images might be any IT company logo/ founder personality). Out of the 10 images 7 should be answered to clear the round 1.

Round1- Participant shall first pick a chit from a box of chits (specific category) and later they have to pick up all the words from another box of chits which would relate to the chit category picked up first.

Who am I

Round 1:

The player needs to roll the dice and based on the number a colour will be selected. The team which picks at least 20 balls of the given colour in the given time limit will be promoted to the second round.

Round 2:

Some generalvand technical questions will be given. The player need to pick a chit and arrange the answer for the question with the letters given. A player should answer minimum of 5 questions in given time.

Spy C

Round1-A puzzle with hidden keywords is given and we have to search the keyword to complete the puzzle, keywords will be related to tech

This event would be tricky, participants have to answer the first question when the second question is asked and the flow continues. Whoever flows up with the questions till the last question and answer the first question after the last question wraps up the event

Smart Droid

A Quiz App(android app) is built and the apps play store link is placed in the website (College official website), people who wish to play has to download and register.

Round1-After registration you’ll find round1 questions in the app, you need to answer them and if your score crosses the threshold score you will be promoted to round two.

Round2-A clone of Round 1 with increase in difficulty level. These two rounds are offline (means offsite).

Round3-This is onsite you have to use the App and the round will be activated onsite and the team with fastest and highest score will win.

Round1-It is time based event, participants are given a puzzle which contains snippets of code or basic parts of computer or a logo they have to complete the remains.

It's Appening

Round1-In this round multiple choice questions on app logos, products and their usage, and on various platforms will be asked.
